Who can apply to STEM Elevate?
STEM Elevate is open to female students and early-career professionals from KNUST who are enrolled in or graduated from STEM-related programs.
Is the program open to undergraduates and graduates?
Yes. Both undergraduate and graduate women in STEM fields are encouraged to apply, especially those committed to building careers and leadership in STEM industries or academia.
Is there a fee to join the program?
No. STEM Elevate is a fully funded program. Participation, training, mentorship, and micro-credential courses are provided at no cost to selected participants.
How long does the program last?
Each program runs for 6 months, divided into two parts: the 6-month STEM Career Navigator Program, followed by the 6-month Leadership & Advocacy Academy. Participants may apply for STEM Impact Grants at the end of either program.
How are participants selected?
Participants are selected through a competitive application process that assesses academic background, motivation, leadership potential, and commitment to a STEM career. A panel of mentors and faculty members reviews each application.
